The Fourth insertion of "The Tales Lord Marcello" EP line. On this round, the EP returns back to many of the elements of Anakin Marcello Touchdown's assassin lifestyle and are combined with a western/cowboy/Texano theme. Just coming off the leg of Tha Phantom V this is an homage to the underground freelance style. While working on Phantom V, I knew I had to convert my overall style to a much more commercial sounding music. I also wanted to maintain that sense of quality music so instead of just dumbing it down completely, I chose beats for Phantom V that sounded mainstream, but used flows/rhyme schemes that I normally would to bring a different mix to the table.
However, I was in fear that I downgraded, or lost my edge. So almost as soon as I got done with Phantom V, I began writing and compiling for another EP just to test myself on my lyrical ability. After about 3 weeks I had formed the outline for JMT but with each song I finished I felt I needed more. While on the beginning of my summer vacation I went ahead and made JMT a full length project instead of an EP format.
