[ In between Tha Phantom II and Smoking: Comedy & Tragedy, I was in a completely different mindset as far as Mixtape vs Street Album vs Album. Everything prior had been the traditional style we came up under, Mixtapes/Street Albums were instrumentals and some original beats mixed in and ALBUMS were all original, for sale etc.

I wanted Tha Phantom III to be P3:Magna Karta with all original production, and the concept with it was each song was named and based on a book I had read. "Brave New World" on the official Phantom III is the tie over from that idea, but Magna Karta or Great Charter Records would end up becoming my brand and label name instead of just the P3 album.

Because this was prior to 2009 I was still recording out of the house. It wasn't until Feb 09 that I linked with Sam at his formal REAL studio to make Smoking part 1 with Paymun (and form Round Table) and everything after. Some of these songs are from the studio November 08 as we laid the foundation that led up to February.

This was the last piece in the puzzle from Street Theory Vol.1 in that locker room with my Brothers to finally stepping into a REAL BOOTH and the rest is History. ]
