While working on Phantom V, I knew I had to convert my overall style to a much more commercial sounding music. I also wanted to maintain that sense of quality music so instead of just dumbing it down completely, I chose beats for Phantom V that sounded mainstream, but used flows/rhyme schemes that I normally would to bring a different mix to the table.

However, I was in fear that I downgraded, or lost my edge. So almost as soon as I got done with Phantom V, I began writing and compiling for another EP just to test myself on my lyrical ability. After about 3 weeks I had formed the outline for JMT but with each song I finished I felt I needed more. While on the beginning of my summer vacation I went ahead and made JMT a full length project instead of an EP format.
